the real // melissa always wanted a cinderella fairy tale wedding and that’s exactly what she got. the way she looked in her wedding dress made her look like a princess and a horse and carriage came to pick her up to take her to the ceremony, as konrad ran behind them with the steadicam. melissa and aaron also had such an amazing group of friends and family that made their love story a great laugh and one of my new favourites.
the random // as lori + steve’s wedding was a tight schedule for the sde, partly due to moving the ceremony outside 2 minutes before it was scheduled, konrad finished it with a smile on his face. we were situated behind curtains that were behind the stage. when konrad had a couple minutes to sit back, relax and wait for the band to play their last couple of songs, he danced. oddly enough, michael jackson played to hype him up for the show.
the rant // i’m starting to take note for each wedding i attend, which venue provides the best vegetarian dinner. for a while, we were receiving the same “veggies in a filo pastry.” it’s ok, but it gets monotonous after the 11th one… both lori + steve and melissa + aaron’s wedding had such amazing vegetarian dishes. i was so surprised…and thankful. while most people think that vegetarian dishes are boring, i think that they just aren’t up for trying new things.

the real // HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of the most wonderful photographers of the 21st century. she continues to amaze me and many others. she keeps me on my toes and teaches me about important things in life that i’ve never had the chance to stop and think about. i’ve had the joy to experience getting stuck in the snow, in a smart car with her and trying to push it up a hill in high heels and cocktail dresses. also, i experienced my first time going wedding dress shopping with her. at first she was somebody that i worked with, now she is someone that i go to for advice, laughter and support. i never thought that i would have become such great friends with a “co-worker.” so, happy birthday amina. i hope that i am apart of many more of them!
