what’s up with SMAPP?

the unfortunate truth is, we still aren’t ready. the tools are there, they are tested and work beautifully. we believe they can make a world of a difference for filmmakers. the tutorials are all done, approved, and ready to be shared. we’ve got lots of great ideas within them that we can’t wait to share. even the Gear Bag is looking great and ready to go. we’ve spent weeks writing reviews, filling out how we see things fitting together, and what gear works for what types of shoots or which sorts of people.

even with all of the great content, we still need SMAPP to perform well. it needs to be snappy from tool to tool, or section to section. it needs to perform as strongly as the ideas within it. unfortunately, we aren’t there yet. we believe strongly in what SMAPP is and what it can be, and we know at some point we will need to stop perfecting it and share it with all of you to see what you think. we just aren’t there yet on the development side. we know it can be better. it NEEDS to be better. and we aren’t sleeping until we get it there.
