Christine
Teddy’s SDE – Rockleigh NJ
After Griffen and Jen’s weddings in Cali last weekend, we decided to hang out there for a week and then fly straight to Newark for Christine + Teddy’s wedding. It is amazing how much time you can lose packing for a flight, arriving early to the airport, flying, picking up your luggage, and unpacking. So much so that we have lately just resigned to trying to work from hotel rooms and getting some extra time to check out all the fabulous places we get to shoot in. With so many remote weddings we also rarely get to meet the couple until we arrive in their city a couple days before their wedding. With Christine + Teddy, they were extremely warm from the moment we arrived, taking us out for a nice dinner where we got a chance to really get to know them before their big day. Everybody at their wedding was extremely friendly and one of her bridesmaids, also named Christine (another SMBlog fan) , even did the introduction for the SDE at the reception. A special note for this one; John has been doing cinematography for a while with us (in addition to his roles as our barista, director of business development, receptionist, and photographer) and this was the first SDE he got to come out and shoot with us. -Patrick

WOW, they are the best wedding vows I have ever heard!!! Amazing work as usual!
I love how you plot the music and all the good footage, truly amazing.
cheers!
I commented on Vimeo, but I had to comment again. That dress shot is juicy! Probably cuz it’s in reverse of what you normally see. Very Juicy!
yet to disappoint… love it as always :)
Very inspiring, as usual. What amazes me is there are no special effects to create the awesome movies you guys do! The smoothness of each shot is also enviable, given that I have an XHA1 also and it is pretty darn heavy for me! You guys are the reason I bought the Canon XHA1 but boy do I have a lot to learn! Can’t wait til January! Cheers!
very beautiful yet again.
such touching words from the groom!
Aw man, now I’m all weepy at work! What a lovely day… love the ring shots with the rainy background!
beautiful — i still get goosebumps when i see it!!!!

Awesome as usual. What the heck was I thinking not hiring you guys for my wedding?? I wish I had known about you! I will have another chance at my vow renewal. : )
LOVED IT ! Great music, great gliding shots Patrick… and John, I’m sure you’ve waited a long time to experience the creation of an infamous SM SDE… you have arrived!!! What a feeling, eh? Awesome work guys!
You guys rock! I just recently found your blog. I love the way how you guys pan in the videos. – Wayne Yuan Photography
